Job summary

RAC is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR Division. You’ll work on a scheduled list of pre-booked jobs, performing routine servicing, diagnostics and in-depth repairs at customer premises.

With a base salary of £40,170 and on-target earnings up to £52,000, there’s guaranteed overtime and a full 40-hour week, in a growing, non-emergency mobile service team spanning the Liverpool area.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 2+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using mobile equipment
• In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
• Member advice and recommendations based on inspection
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
