Job summary

RAC is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division. You will work on pre-booked appointments with a fully equipped RAC van, performing routine servicing, diagnostics, and in-depth repairs, while advising members on next steps.

The role offers a stable 40-hour week and progression within a national service delivery team. This is a field role across the Newbury cluster, covering local areas with no emergency callouts, and includes structured schedules, a uniform, and access to

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent required with 2+ years experience
• 5+ years experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic required
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points required

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing
