Job summary

RAC Motoring Services is recruiting for Mobile Vehicle Technicians to perform planned servicing, diagnostics and in-depth repairs at customers' locations. You will work from a fully equipped RAC van, following a pre-booked schedule and use advanced diagnostics to complete quality maintenance on driveways and car parks.

You’ll enjoy a structured development path, a permanent full-time role, and the flexibility of a mobile field position with Monday–Saturday hours and overtime options.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic and a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In depth repairs you'd normally complete in a workshop
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
• Deliver planned work with a clear digital schedule and pre booked appointments
