Job summary

RAC is recruiting Mobile Mechanics to perform planned servicing, diagnostics and repairs on members' vehicles at pre-booked appointments. You’ll operate with a fully equipped RAC van, using advanced diagnostics and on-site assessments to ensure quality work and safety.

You’ll join the SMR division, working on a schedule-driven model with no emergency callouts, backed by a comprehensive rewards package, overtime options, and career development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• Structured development pathway with opportunities to gain accreditation.
