Zusammenfassung

RAC SMR division seeks a Mobile Vehicle Technician to service and diagnose vehicles at customers' driveways and car parks. You’ll operate from a fully equipped RAC van with a clear, pre-booked schedule and support from the national organisation.

Expect routine servicing, diagnostics, and in-depth repairs with safety checks aligned to RAC standards. With 40 hours per week, core hours 8:30–17:00 and occasional Saturdays, you’ll benefit from a competitive base salary with realistic OTE up to

Qualifikationen

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent, with 2+ years on-road or workshop experience.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• 5+ years’ experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine servicing on customer vehicles as scheduled.
• Carry out diagnostics using mobile diagnostics equipment to identify issues.
• Complete in-depth repairs typically done in a workshop environment.
• Provide member advice and recommendations after inspections.
• Conduct vehicle safety checks in line with RAC standards.
• Work from a planned schedule with pre-booked appointments.
