Job summary

RAC Motoring Services seeks skilled Mobile Mechanics to deliver planned servicing and diagnostics at customers' locations. You will perform in-depth repairs, advise members, and complete safety checks following RAC standards. You operate on a fixed schedule with pre-booked appointments and support from a fully equipped RAC van.

Core hours are 8:30 am–5:00 pm, with Saturdays on a 1 in 4 rotation. A competitive base salary with overtime options accompanies your role in a national service network.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic and a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned servicing and diagnostics on customer vehicles.
• Perform in-depth repairs you would normally complete in a workshop.
• Advise members and provide recommendations based on inspection.
• Conduct vehicle safety checks to RAC standards.
• Follow a clearly planned schedule with pre-booked appointments.
