Job summary

RAC is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician in the SMR Division. You will perform planned servicing, diagnostics and in-depth repairs on members' vehicles using mobile equipment, with pre-booked jobs and a clear digital schedule.

This is a 40-hour week with core hours 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays. You’ll receive a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform and extensive benefits as part of a national organisation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In-depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
