Qualifications

  • Valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Mobile Vehicle Technician

Location: Ipswich

Salary: £44,385 basic per annum, OTE £50,000 plus

Hours: 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm, 1 in 4 Saturday's (Plenty of overtime available)

As a Mobile Mechanic within our client’s Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you’ll use your expertise to support customers directly—whether at their home, workplace, or elsewhere. You’ll provide first-class service without the restrictions of a traditional workshop.

Role Overview
  • Working closely with the breakdown team: tasked with attending breakdowns to diagnose issues. Work on the vehicles to get them back on the road or ensure they are taken to the workshop.
  • Identifying problems and advising the customer on the vehicle’s issues.
  • Vehicle servicing & general maintenance including electrical & vehicle diagnostics.
  • As the face of the business, deliver exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Level 3 in Vehicle maintenance and Repair ideally, or Level 2; open to equivalent qualifications such as City & Guilds vehicle Maintenance, IMI or NVQ. Must be able to show qualifications.
  • Minimum 3 years experience within the vehicle workshop or working as a Mobile Vehicle Technician.
  • A full UK driving licence – no more than 6 points or bans on the licence.
  • Ability to demonstrate technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
