Job summary

Communities is seeking a dedicated Support Worker (Peripatetic) for the CFO Evolution programme in Bournemouth. The role involves caseload management across custody and community settings, delivering tailored interventions, and building strong stakeholder relationships to support reintegration.

The position is a long-term Fixed Term Contract until December 2028 with regular travel across the South West region.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel across the cluster/region in both custody and community settings.
• Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants across custody and community settings.
• Deliver pre-release work, through-the-gate support and tailored action plans.
• Conduct individual and group interventions and provide motivational support.
• Record participant data accurately to meet contractual, administrative and financial requirements.
• Meet individual and team performance targets and ensure effective risk management.
• Promote safeguarding of adults and children and liaise with Probation Services.
