Overview

As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you'll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you'll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first-class vehicle maintenance and diagnostic services directly to customers wherever they are.
• Perform light vehicle servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and checks on every job.
• Manage stock, do your reporting, and keep customer conversations flowing.
• Think on your feet and make the right call for each customer, adapting to new challenges every day.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
• At least 3 years' hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Salary and Benefits

A competitive base salary of £38,625, with on-target earnings of up to £55,000 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable). A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities. 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Earnings That Motivate - enjoy a market-competitive base salary of £38,625, with the opportunity to increase your earnings up to £50,000 through bonuses and premium-rate overtime. A full-time 40-hour week, with Monday-Saturday availability (8am-8pm), offers flexibility and stability.

Opt-in Guaranteed Overtime – after your first month, you can choose to work extra rest days at £30 per hour. Just one extra day a month could earn you £3,000 more per year on top of your base salary. Two extra days could give you an extra £5,000. It's your choice – more flexibility, more reward.
