Overview

If you have an eye for attention to detail and enjoy general cleaning, you could be perfect for this career. This is a permanent vacancy covering Glenrothes and surrounding area, working in schools and Council buildings.

Position

Mobile Cleaner - 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks per year. Working between 3:00pm and 8:00pm as required.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure staff and pupils have a clean and safe environment.
  • Work alone or as part of a team to provide a regular and effective service.
  • Induction training and on-the-job training toward The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.
  • Travel to multiple locations within the area (driving license desirable). Travel expenses paid at 45 pence per mile.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary: £24,740.74 pro-rata, annualised payments; Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.18 per hour plus extra shift/weekend payments.
