Welder - Cookstown

Pay: £17-£18 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday

Our client, a leading manufacturer of heavy machinery for the crushing and screening industry, is seeking a skilled Welder to join their growing team in Cookstown. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role with a well-established engineering company producing high-quality equipment for global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out MIG welding on heavy steel components
• Interpret engineering drawings and work to precise specifications
• Fabricate and assemble machinery parts to a high standard
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in welding within manufacturing or heavy engineering
• Strong MIG welding skills (additional processes beneficial)
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work as part of a team
