A healthcare institution in the UK is seeking motivated Clinical Educators to join their practice development team. This role involves facilitating training and educational programs for midwives and other staff to ensure compliance with national guidelines. Candidates should have a nursing or midwifery qualification and experience in teaching. The position offers opportunities for professional development and support in a collaborative environment.
We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic midwives to join the practice development team as Clinical Educators. This role will include mandatory and essential to role training, service activity, preceptorship programmes and clinical placements in line with Trust policies, procedures and national guidelines. Supporting new staff through the preceptorship and induction programmes and provide access to education and training to ensure both new and existing staff maintain required skills and competencies. Ensure training is evidence based and updated annually.
We have three wards across two sites, with a total of 88 beds for antenatal, postnatal and induction of labour. At Royal Derby Hospital there are: 17 delivery rooms including one pool room and bereavement suite; Four bedded Midwife led birth centre; Four bedded Obstetric Enhanced Care area and a two bedded assessment bay. At Queens Hospital Burton there are: 7 delivery rooms including one pool room and one bereavement suite.
