A regional healthcare provider in England is seeking a Clinical Educator to support midwifery practice development. The role involves delivering mandatory training, supporting new midwives through preceptorship, and ensuring continued education. Ideal candidates will have demonstrable clinical skills and a passion for teaching, offering an opportunity to make a significant impact on staff training and patient care.
We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic midwives to join the practice development team as Clinical Educators. This role will include mandatory and essential to role training, service activity, preceptorship programmes and clinical placements in line with Trust policies, procedures and national guidelines. Supporting new staff through the preceptorship and induction programmes and provide access to education and training to ensure both new and existing staff maintain required skills and competencies. Ensure training is evidence based and updated annually.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience and be up to date and confident with all clinical skills.
We have three wards across two sites, with a total of 88 beds for antenatal, postnatal and induction of labour.
