About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Midweight CG Artist to join INK’s CGI Department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in creating photorealistic imagery, a deep understanding of 3D workflows from concept to final render, and an eye for detail that pushes work from excellent to extraordinary.

We value artists who enjoy working as part of a team - sharing ideas, learning from each other, and helping shape the work along the way.

This is an on-site role only at our studio near King’s Cross.

Key Responsibilities
  • 3D Creation & Visualisation:
  • Handle texturing, lighting, animations and composition for small‑scale and large‑scale scenes.
  • Build and optimise large-scale environments without sacrificing quality.
  • Work with both still imagery and animation pipelines.
  • Handle complex files and heavy scenes without compromising performance or quality.
  • Work directly with art directors and the team to turn briefs into finished visuals.
  • Balance artistic vision with technical precision to deliver high-end, photorealistic results that align with brand standards.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work seamlessly with other artists, designers, and creative directors to develop concepts and execute ideas.
  • Present work clearly and confidently, articulating creative decisions to both internal teams and clients.
  • Take on feedback constructively, iterating quickly while maintaining creative integrity.
Qualifications
  • Proven expertise with 3D software such as Blender, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Maya (or similar).
  • Familiarity with tools like Substance Painter/Designer, Photoshop and ComfyUI is a plus.
  • Understanding of real-world photography principles for more believable renders.
