Job summary

CPJ Recruitment is recruiting for an Area Sales Manager – Plumbing Products covering the Midlands. You will work field-based with a leading plumbing products manufacturer, selling through commercial plumbing and heating merchants and managing relationships across a broad customer base.

Responsibilities include generating demand, identifying opportunities, gaining product specifications and delivering project support on commercial building projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing, merchants, building products, construction or heating.
• Ability to understand customer requirements, handle objections and clearly communicate product features, advantages and benefits.
• Confidence in delivering product and project support to customers.
• Strong relationship building, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and territory management skills.
• Ability to recognise opportunities, solve problems and take ownership of actions.

Responsibilities

• Generate demand and identify new business opportunities.
• Gain product specifications and provide customers with project support.
• Sell products through commercial plumbing and heating merchants.
• Manage relationships across national and independent merchants, distributors, installers, contractors, specifiers, developers and housing providers.
• Develop and maintain relationships across a wide customer base.
• Deliver strong product and project support to customers.
