Overview

The Education Specialist is currently working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in St Helens, who are seeking a French Teacher to join their team from January 2026 on a fixed-term contract until at least the end of the academic year.

This role is predominantly KS3 French, with some KS4 classes, making it an excellent opportunity for a passionate and engaging MFL specialist who enjoys building strong foundations in language learning while supporting GCSE progression.

The Role

• Teaching French across KS3, with some KS4
• Full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking, and assessment
• Fixed-term contract from January 2026 – July 2026 (minimum)
• Supportive MFL department and leadership team

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching French at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
