Working withcutting-edgetools - frommicrometersto laser scanners and CNC measuring machines - the team verifies everycomponenttomicrometerprecision. Spanning composites, metallic inspection, and non-destructive testing, Metrology ensures every washer, wing, and structure is built to perfection, driving reliability and speed at the pinnacle of motorsport.
This Metrology Apprenticeship is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of every manufacturing process and the skillsrequiredto inspect the resulting parts. You will have the opportunity to work at the pinnacle of Motorsport for one of the most iconic teams in Formula 1and gainhands-onproficiencywith a variety of tools, ranging from hand tools like micrometres and callipers, to advanced laser scanning of CAD surfaces, and programming CNC Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMMs). The program includes rotations within our Composites & Metallic Inspection and NDT (Non-Destructive Test) departments.
