Overview

Do you want to play a vital role in helping businesses achieve Net Zero by installing and commissioning whole‑current metering equipment? As a WC Meter Engineer you will deliver excellence in customer service while maintaining strict health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and commission whole‑current metering equipment across the Cornwall region.
• Test and verify installations to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Provide excellent on‑site customer service.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations when working with electrical systems.
• Take advantage of structured training and progression pathways to advance into senior or specialist metering roles.

Qualifications

• Experience with whole‑current metering installation.
• Strong electrical knowledge, including single‑phase and three‑phase meters.
• Relevant qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Full UK driving licence (company van and fuel card provided).
• Willingness to undergo in‑house training and further skill development.
• Proactive attitude, strong communication and a willingness to learn.
