Salary: £15-£17 per hour

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing client specialising in high-quality fabricated products. They are looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their team. This is a hands‑on role involving press brake operation and manual sheet metal fabrication, working to high standards of accuracy and finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operating press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal components
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings and job specifications
  • Carrying out manual sheet metal work including cutting, shaping, and assembling parts
  • Using hand tools and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
  • Ensuring finished products meet quality standards and measurements
  • Conducting basic machine maintenance and reporting faults
  • Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication
  • Experience operating press brake machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong practical skills and confidence using hand tools
