Qualifications

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (or equivalent HCPC registration) required.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation surrounding the Mental Capacity Act / Mental Health Act is essential.
  • Ability to drive and have a car for work is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team managing a caseload of patients.
  • Undertake assessments of patients and involve their families in care plans.
  • Be responsible for formulating and executing care plans for patients.
  • Supervise Support Workers and/or students.
  • Provide advice on the needs of service users.
