Overview

Axcis are working with a specialist school dedicated to supporting students aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school offers a supportive and nurturing environment designed to help students overcome challenges, build emotional resilience and achieve their academic potential. With a focus on personalised learning, we provide opportunities for outdoor education and other activities aimed at holistic development.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to students aged 11-16 with SEMH, ASD, and SEND as directed by school staff.
  • Support the delivery of personalised learning and assist with maintaining a calm, proactive approach to behaviour management.
  • Assist with outdoor education and holistic development activities where required.
Qualifications
  • Experience supporting children with ASD or SEND is highly desirable.
  • Patient, reliable and adaptable, with a caring attitude.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with school staff.
  • Ability to manage and support students with challenging behaviour in a calm and proactive manner.
Ideal Candidate

Additional Information
  • Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
  • Full-time positions available
