Job summary

Everlast Gyms is seeking a proactive Sales & Retention Manager to drive membership growth and improve retention across the club. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead sales activity, coach teammates, and ensure a seamless member journey from enquiry to long‑term loyalty.

This hands-on leadership role combines commercial thinking, people leadership and customer experience to maximise club performance and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, membership, retail, hospitality or customer‑focused leadership roles.
• Proven ability to influence performance and achieve commercial targets.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Commercial mindset and confidence working with KPIs and performance data.

Responsibilities

• Lead the FUNDAMENTALS sales process across the club and drive membership sales.
• Coach and develop colleagues to maximise sales performance and conversion.
• Drive member engagement and retention through targeted initiatives and campaigns.
• Monitor KPIs and present regular sales updates to leadership.
• Drive revenue across memberships, fitness products and supplementary services.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and development of future talent.
• Work closely with the General Manager to support day‑to‑day operations and safety.
