Job summary

Everlast Gyms is seeking a Sales & Retention Manager to drive membership growth, engagement and overall club performance. You will report to the General Manager and lead sales activity, coaching colleagues to excel and ensuring a seamless member journey from enquiry to loyalty.

This hands-on leadership role combines commercial thinking, people leadership and customer experience to maximise club performance and sustainable growth within a fast-paced fitness environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, membership, hospitality or customer-focused leadership roles.
• Proven ability to influence performance and achieve commercial targets.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Commercial mindset and confidence working with KPIs and performance data.
• Positive, resilient and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Own membership growth and engagement across the club.
• Develop strategies to improve acquisition and retention and profitability.
• Coach and develop staff to maximise sales performance and conversions.
• Drive membership sales through effective lead management and engagement.
• Monitor KPIs and implement action plans to hit targets.
• Deliver regular sales updates to leadership.
• Drive revenue across memberships, fitness products and secondary spend.
• Lead a culture of exceptional service and teamwork.
