Job summary

Everlast Gyms seeks a Sales & Retention Manager to drive membership growth, improve retention, and support overall club profitability. You will lead sales activity, coach staff, and ensure a seamless member journey from enquiry to loyalty.

As a hands-on leader, you will build partnerships, create opportunities for new members, and deliver sustainable club performance within a high‑performing culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, membership, retail, hospitality or customer-focused leadership roles.
• Proven ability to influence performance and achieve commercial targets.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sales Performance: champion and deliver the fundamentals sales process; coach colleagues to maximise sales and conversion; monitor performance against KPIs and present updates to the leadership team; drive revenue across memberships and products.
• Drive Member Retention: create initiatives to improve engagement and retention; analyse retention trends and member behaviour; ensure outstanding member experience across the journey; support campaigns and events.
• Grow the Business: develop and execute lead-generation activities; build relationships with local businesses and communities; support local marketing to drive awareness and growth.
• Lead and Develop Others: deliver coaching and mentoring; promote a high-performance culture; lead by example through service standards; support recruitment and development.
• Support Club Operations: assist with day-to-day operations with the General Manager; ensure health & safety, compliance, facilities and maintenance; uphold cleanliness and service standards.
