Job summary

Everlast Gyms is looking for a Sales & Retention Manager to drive membership growth, engagement and club profitability. You will work with the General Manager and leadership team to implement strategies that improve acquisition, retention and overall commercial performance across the club.

You will lead sales performance, coach staff, manage leads, monitor KPIs and deliver regular updates to the leadership team.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, membership, retail, hospitality or customer-focused leadership roles.
• Proven ability to influence performance and achieve commercial targets.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Commercial mindset and confidence working with KPIs and performance data.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Positive, resilient and solutions-focused approach.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fundamentals sales process across the club and coach colleagues to maximise sales performance.
• Drive membership sales through effective lead management and member engagement.
• Develop initiatives to improve member engagement and retention across the club.
• Grow the business by lead generation and building relationships with local communities and organisations.
• Lead and mentor colleagues, promoting a high-performance culture and service excellence.
• Support day-to-day club operations with the General Manager and ensure standards are met.
