Job summary

Everlast Gyms is seeking a Sales & Retention Manager to drive membership growth, engage members, and improve the club's commercial performance. You will work with the General Manager and leadership team to devise strategies for customer acquisition, retention and profitability.

You will lead the sales process, coach staff to maximize performance, and drive revenue across memberships and related products. The role emphasizes a high-performance, customer-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, membership, retail, hospitality or customer-focused leadership roles.
• Proven ability to influence performance and achieve commercial targets.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Commercial mindset with KPIs and performance data.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sales Performance: implement the fundamentals sales process, coach colleagues, drive membership sales, monitor KPIs, present performance updates, grow revenue from memberships and products.
• Drive Member Retention: develop initiatives to improve engagement and retention, analyse trends, ensure outstanding member experiences, support campaigns and events.
• Grow the Business: create lead generation activity, build partnerships with local businesses and communities, support marketing initiatives, identify growth opportunities.
• Lead And Develop Others: coach and mentor team, foster high-performance culture, model service standards, assist recruitment and development.
• Support Club Operations: collaborate with the General Manager on daily ops, assist with safety, compliance, facilities, and standards.
