Job summary

JD Gyms Bradford is seeking a Duty Manager to help run the club day-to-day, including opening and closing duties, and to maintain high standards for members in a safe, welcoming environment.

You will lead and coach colleagues, support membership growth and commercial performance, uphold JD Gyms brand standards, and ensure the facility is clean and well maintained. Flexibility for early mornings, evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supporting colleagues in leisure, fitness, hospitality or customer-focused settings.
• Strong commitment to delivering excellent member service and coaching.
• Qualified to at least Level 2 Gym Instructor.
• Experience contributing to membership growth and commercial performance.
• Experience supporting operational delivery and team development.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations including opening/closing duties.
• Flexible hours, including mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Enforce Health & Safety policies and JD Gyms procedures.
• Maintain JD Gyms brand standards and cleanliness.
• Support revenue and membership targets and grow secondary revenue.
