Job summary

JD Gyms in Glasgow is seeking a Duty Manager to support the day-to-day operation of the club, working with the management team to deliver a safe, welcoming and positive experience for members.

You will help maintain high operational standards, assist colleagues, and contribute to achieving membership and commercial objectives while ensuring the club runs efficiently and safely in line with JD Gyms standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supporting colleagues in leisure, fitness, hospitality or customer-focused settings.
• Strong commitment to delivering excellent member service and developing teammates.
• Ability to support operational delivery and commercial performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational running of the club, including opening/closing duties.
• Flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and brand standards.
• Support membership growth and achieve revenue and commercial objectives.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety, report defects, and support team.
• Represent JD Gyms values in all interactions.
