A unique opportunity has opened for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established, UK-leading provider of medical imaging technology. The role blends technical field service support with consultative sales and close collaboration with commercial teams, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both engineering and client-facing work.

Overview

Field Service Engineer – Medical Imaging (Scotland). Based in Scotland with Glasgow/Edinburgh focus and occasional duties in the Aberdeen area.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and support medical imaging systems including:
• X-Ray machines
• Surgical C-Arms
• Dental X-Ray units

Work closely with the sales and product teams, providing technical insight during client consultations, helping tailor imaging solutions, and identifying up-sell opportunities.

Location

Based in Scotland, with most work concentrated in Glasgow and Edinburgh, with some duties in the Aberdeen area.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (door-to-door)

Who We're Looking For

• Experienced Field Service Engineering
• Ideally a background in medical imaging, medical engineering or ex-REME engineers; other transferable backgrounds welcome
• HNC or above in Electronics or related discipline
• Comfortable in client-facing roles, supporting sales teams, and building rapport with end users
