Job summary

A major healthcare provider in Scotland is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Secretary to join the Neurosurgery team at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and staff, responsible for audio typing and administrative duties. Proficiency in IT systems and a minimum of one year’s audio typing experience are essential. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, be self-motivated, and ideally have experience in an NHS environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year’s audio typing experience or proven advanced keyboard skills from previous roles.
  • Candidates must work independently and demonstrate excellent organisational skills.
  • Previous secretarial experience in an NHS environment is ideal.
