  • GCE/GCSE’s subjects to include English Language
  • Word Processing/RSA II
  • 1 year part qualification RSA Part I
  • Ability to deal with sensitive issues with empathy and the ability to generate rapport with individuals rapidly

Duties of this role include:

  • Provide the highest possible standard of secretarial and clerical support, ensuring a professional, effective service that makes optimum use of available resources
  • Support Consultants, clients, and hospital staff with secretarial tasks
  • Ensure typed documentation is of the highest standard
  • Maintain accurate documentation and files
  • Communicate effectively and promptly all verbal and written messages, responding to urgent requests
  • Coordinate with bookings/admissions office regarding patient admission requests via Consultants
  • Gather and collate information as required
  • Respond to telephone enquiries professionally and promptly
