A healthcare organization is seeking a motivated Medical Receptionist to assist patients and support the practice team. This part-time position involves booking appointments, managing queries, and performing general administrative tasks. While experience in GP work is beneficial, training will be provided. The starting pay is £12.30 per hour, with the possibility of increases after probation.
We are recruiting for a Medical Receptionist in a very busy forward thinking, high achieving practice. If you are motivated and can work under a level of pressure then you are just what we are looking for.
The main duties of the role will be on Reception, answering the telephone, dealing with patients requests and queries via face to face, telephone, email, online triage. Booking appointments, issuing and dealing with prescription requests, liaising with external organisations and general admin work
We have 5 GPs, 2 Nurses and a HCA, Phlebotomist and 10 other receptionists who you will work alongside. We are a training practice and have regular medical students. We also have attached support staff including a care co ordinator, social prescriber, clinical pharmacists, pharmacy technician, ANP\'s and Mental Health practitioner
Our reception team are very motivated and friendly and support each other
JOB TITLE: RECEPTIONIST
HOURS: 12 Hrs/week to include 2 evenings until 6.30
Job Summary:
Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
Provide general assistance to the Practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone
