Salary: From £12.65 an hour - depending on experience

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 42.5 hours a week - Monday to Friday

London Doctors Clinic (LDC) is looking for a compassionate and confident Medical Receptionist to join our fantastic customer service team!

LDC is part of the Spire Healthcare Group - the second largest private healthcare provider in the UK and we provide private GP services to patients across London.

In this role, you will be integral to enabling LDC’s success by being the first point of contact for our patients—either on the phone or in person—creating a positive and professional impression, embodying the values and excellence that define the LDC brand. Therefore, we are looking for an individual with great customer‑service skills, the ability to communicate at all levels, capable of multitasking during a busy clinic day.

Essential Requirements:
  • Must be able to travel between central London and Greater London clinics.
  • Must have experience in a customer service and/or administrative setting.
  • Excellent IT literacy is paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a warm welcome and excellent customer service to patients.
  • Communicate efficiently with patients via email, phone, and in-person.
  • Complete required administrative tasks.
  • Handle patient information securely in line with GDPR.
  • Maintain clinic cleanliness and compliance with CQC standards.
  • Support doctors with queries and ensure equipment is available and functional.
  • Report facility issues promptly to Operations.
  • Manage stock checks and order non‑medication supplies as needed.
  • Process patient payments and handle billing queries.
  • Arrange courier collections for blood samples.
  • Act as a chaperone when required.
About You:
  • Must be highly organised & a multi‑tasker.
  • Must be able to work independently and take ownership for their working environment and the clinic.
  • Excellent customer‑service skills.
