Job Overview

Med Mal Insurance stars now sought by a well‑respected owner‑managed Lloyds Broker in the City, who have gained a worldwide reputation for offering a first‑class service within the PI, Medical Indemnity and Casualty insurance arenas. They have experienced rapid growth over the last few years and are now recruiting into their offices near Aldgate Tube station in their Casualty team. They provide a great place to work for those who wish to progress their career and stay somewhere for the long term, with a real team culture and a policy of promoting from within.

Responsibilities

• Winning new Med Mal related business and placing this into the Lloyds market.
• Working with a very experienced team of other insurance professionals.
• Maintaining and developing business relationships and nurturing accounts with very professional people.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience gained in a commercial new business/broking position with Med Mal experience essential, whether stand alone or combined or package business.
• Strong sales/communication skills are an absolute must.
• A go‑getter attitude, strong professional demeanour, confidence, ambition and the ability to drive relationships are required.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting basic salary of £40‑50k, dependent on experience, with bonuses. Benefits on offer include Private Medical Insurance, hybrid working (ideally 3 days a week in the London office and 2 from home), discretionary annual bonuses and international travel.
