A leading healthcare organization in Wales is looking for a new team member to manage loan equipment in clinical areas. Responsibilities include delivering, collecting, and performing checks on equipment, requiring adherence to regulatory checks. The post holder will be required to carry out a range of assigned tasks involving indirect care for the benefit of the patient/client in accordance with agreed protocols. The range of responsibilities will be in support of and supervised by a Senior Clinical Technologist. This involves visiting clinical areas within hospitals to deliver and collect loan equipment. Assisting in locating equipment which are due service checks or safety notice corrections which are to be performed by Clinical Engineering or the supplier. They will also be expected to clean and perform basic checks on all Library equipment between loan episodes. As the need arises, the post holder will also be required to help locate, collect and return other non-library equipment in the clinical areas.
