A reputable educational institution in Weybridge is seeking a Medical and Learning Support Assistant (MLSA) to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child using a wheelchair. The role offers 25 hours a week on a fixed-term contract due to the child's needs, with various responsibilities such as assisting with personal care, liaising with educational staff, and ensuring the child's wellbeing. Applicants should have a good standard of Maths and English, a First Aid certificate, and experience in educational settings.
We are recruiting for a Medical and Learning Support Assistants (MLSA), to start as soon as possible, to support a happy engaged child who uses a wheelchair due to a spinal injury and needs constant 1:1 support. The role is initially offered on a fixed term contract to the end of the summer term.
The MLSA is required for 25 hours per week across Monday to Friday, for 1:1 care and support working in conjunction with another experienced MLSA.

The usual hours will be 8.00 am to 1.30 pm weekdays during term time (including half an hour unpaid for lunch).
