Mechanical Technical Manager – UK (Hybrid / Travel)

Lead the technical delivery of large-scale automated mechanical solutions across logistics and industrial projects. Work closely with engineering, design, and project teams to develop customised mechanical layouts, equipment specifications, and high-quality technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Interpret project layouts, specifications, and customer requirements into final mechanical designs.
  • Oversee technical operations, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
  • Produce and review CAD layouts, equipment lists, and BOMs.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, automation, and software teams to develop integrated solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement, technical reporting, and solution optimisation.

Requirements :

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong background in mechanical design for logistics or industrial systems.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, and mechanical standards.
