My client is a leading M&E Contractor who are currently recruiting a Mechanical Manager to oversee a large-scale residential development in Kensington. The project consists of high-end luxury apartments, requiring strong leadership, excellent technical knowledge, and experience managing complex mechanical packages.

Mechanical Manager Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Project Director and taking full responsibility for all mechanical elements on the project.
  • Managing and coordinating all mechanical installation works across the residential scheme.
  • Leading mechanical teams and overseeing multiple subcontractors on site.
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and ensuring all mechanical works are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Managing QA processes and ensuring all documentation is completed and compliant.
  • Identifying and resolving technical or design issues in collaboration with engineers and consultants.
  • Ensuring all mechanical activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project programme.
  • Attending daily and weekly meetings with senior management, design teams, and other trades.
  • Driving productivity, progress, and ensuring the project meets key milestones.
  • Coordinating commissioning, testing, and handover processes.
  • Maintaining strong communication between site teams, subcontractors, and the client.
Mechanical Manager Requirements
  • SMSTS (or equivalent).
  • Mechanical trade or Engineering qualification.
