Youwillberesponsibleforday-to-daymechanicalengineeringdesignonliveprojects,fromfeasibilitythroughtodetaileddesignandconstruction.Thisisadelivery-focusedrolesuitedtosomeonewhoenjoysworkingindetailandwantstodevelopwithinasupportive,technicallydriventeam.

KeyResponsibilities

• Undertakemechanicalengineeringdesignforbuildingservicesprojects,includingheating,ventilation,cooling,anddomesticwatersystems.
• Prepareandcheckcalculations,drawings,andspecificationsacrossconcept,developed,andtechnicaldesignstages.
• Coordinatemechanicalsystemswithotherdisciplines(architectural,structural,electrical,sustainability).
• Workcloselywithprojectleadsandseniorengineerstoensuretechnicalcomplianceandqualityassurance.
• Supportthepreparationofdesignpackagesfortenderandconstruction,includingrespondingtocontractorqueries.
• Contributetointernaltechnicalreviewsandteamknowledgesharing.
• UsedesignsoftwaresuchasIES,AutoCAD,andRevittoproducecoordinatedandaccurateoutputs.

CandidateProfile

Qualifications:

• Degree-qualifiedinMechanicalorBuildingServicesEngineering.
• Ideallyworkingtowardsprofessionalregistration(CIBSEorIMechE).

Experience:

• Proventrackrecorddeliveringmechanicaldesignswithinaconsultancyordesign-and-buildenvironment.
• Projectresponsibilityfromfeasibilitythroughtodetaileddesignandconstruction.
• ExperiencedinusingdesignandMSsoftwaretools(IES,Revit,AutoCAD).
• FamiliaritywithUKBuildingRegulations,CIBSEguides,andindustrystandards.
