Job description

Our client is currently looking to recruit an Electromechanical Engineer to work at their busy food production site on the outskirts of Saffron Walden (CB10). This is a busy and expanding manufacturing plant, and due to the nature of the work required, you will be expected to undertake physical tasks in a dusty environment on a regular basis.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 p/a, subject to experience.

Responsibilities
  • Drive efficient and effective PPM schedules.
  • Identify and undertake improvements to the site proactively.
  • Swiftly solve unplanned downtime and breakdowns.
  • Operate welding equipment for general maintenance and reactive repairs.
  • Liaise with all members of the site management team.
Skills & Experience
  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering experience (required).
  • Working knowledge of PPM systems (required).
  • Automated Manufacturing experience (required).
  • FMCG – Food experience (preferred).
  • Welding experience (preferably Stick, TIG and MIG).
  • FLT Licence – Counterbalance (preferred).
