Mechanical Engineer

Location: Newport Depot

About the Role

As a Mechanical Engineer based in our Newport depot, you'll play a vital part in keeping our operations running smoothly. You'll carry out mechanical repairs, assembly and servicing across a wide range of industrial products - from power tools to lifting equipment - ensuring everything is safe, reliable and ready for customers when they need it most.

You’ll prioritise repairs effectively, work closely with your colleagues, and take satisfaction in maintaining high‑quality standards every day.

What You’ll Need

To succeed in this role, we're looking for someone with:

  • Previous mechanical engineering experience (hire industry experience a bonus)
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
