Mechanical Engineer Pharmaceutical Project (Surrey) Salary : £90,000-£95,000 + Car + Accommodation + Benefits

Location: Surrey, UK

Role Type: Full-time, Site-Based

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a major pharmaceutical construction project in Surrey. The role involves supporting mechanical installation, coordination, quality, and project delivery within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and support mechanical systems installation, including piping, HVAC, utilities, and process equipment
  • Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and mechanical construction documentation
  • Assist in mechanical design reviews and coordinate with design teams through the RFI process
  • Produce mechanical material take-offs, equipment schedules, and technical submissions
  • Monitor site progress against programme and issue mechanical progress reports
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure mechanical works are delivered to specification and schedule
  • Conduct quality inspections, snagging, and compliance checks for all mechanical elements
