Mechanical Engineer – Northamptonshire

At Build Recruitment, we work exclusively with built environment specialists around the UK. Our client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team at Brixworth Mercedes Headquarters in Northamptonshire for a long‑term temporary contract that could potentially turn into a permanent contract for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Work on Formula 1 engines with a focus on preventive maintenance programmes (PPMs) and occasional reactive jobs.
• Initially work Monday to Friday (8am‑5pm) and eventually transition to shift work.

Qualifications

• FM experience.
• Level 2 qualification in Plumbing, or Level 3 and 18th edition in Electrical.

Working Hours

• Shift patterns: Tuesday – Saturday, Sunday – Thursday.
• Between 6am – 11pm.

Pay rate: £26.44 per hour.
