The Role

We are seeking passionate, dedicated Maths Teachers to deliver Functional Skills Maths at Entry 3 and Level 1 to adult and post 16 learners in Newcastle. You will join a supportive team, helping learners build confidence and essential maths skills that support progression.

Who We re Looking For

• Proven experience delivering GCSE or functional skills maths whether that is to secondary students or post 16 any experience delivering to resit students is a huge advantage.
• Ability to design differentiated lessons, assess learner progress, and support mixed ability groups to achieve outcomes.
• Willingness and flexibility to adapt teaching style for further education/adult learners needs.

Main Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Functional Skills Maths lessons at Entry 3 and Level 1.
• Assess and monitor learners progress, provide feedback, set learning goals.
• Create inclusive and supportive learning environments tailored to adult/post 16 learners.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources, track attendance, and support overall learner achievement and development.
• Prepare students for assessments and manage exam entries where required.
