Starting in the new spring term, we have an opening for a proactive QTS Maths Teacher to join a thriving department. This role is ideal for a teacher who can bring fresh momentum to the classroom after the Christmas break, ensuring that students remain focused and motivated.
You will be responsible for delivering a robust Maths curriculum across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with a particular emphasis on supporting Year 11 students as they enter the final, critical stretch of their GCSE preparation.
Master the Curriculum: Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics that cater to a range of abilities.
Bridge the Gaps: Identify learning hurdles and implement effective interventions to ensure no student falls behind in their progress.
Promote Logic & Logic: Encourage a "can-do" attitude toward problem-solving, helping students build the resilience needed for complex mathematical challenges.
Team Integration: Work closely with a collaborative department to share resources and maintain the school's established high standards.
Consistent Standards: Maintain a disciplined and stimulating classroom environment that adheres to all school behavior and safeguarding policies.
QTS Status: Full Qualified Teacher Status is essential, along with a Mathematics-related degree.
GCSE Expertise: Deep knowledge of current exam board specifications and a track record of helping students achieve their targets.
