Overview

A fantastic opportunity has come up for a very special candidate with a specific blend of knowledge, skills and experience. We have been asked to find a Qualified Teacher who is able to teach Maths to GCSE and a minimum of entry level Science. This is a full-time position to start as soon as possible and the role will last at least for the Autumn term but potentially throughout the academic year and beyond.

Essential attributes

• Qualified Teacher
• Solid SEN experience - a track record of teaching at a SEN school is highly desirable
• Pastoral experience or a strong desire to learn
• Excellent spoken and written English

Role Requirements

• Teaching Maths and Science to small classes of Key Stage 3 and 4 learners with SEN
• Planning and preparing all lessons
• Pastoral responsibility for Key Stage 4 form group
• Covering a few periods each week of ASDAN and PSHE
