Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for your next role teaching Maths in a school located in Waltham Forest?

We're also delighted to be supporting a high-performing secondary school in Tower Hamlets in their search for a full-time Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This exciting opportunity is suitable for both Experienced Teachers and ECTs who are passionate about delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role: Maths Teacher

• Delivering high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 & KS4
• Planning and preparing engaging schemes of work
• Assessing, recording and reporting on student development
• Contributing to department meetings, collaborative planning and extracurricular activities

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A strong academic background in Mathematics or a related subject
• A commitment to raising student achievement and enthusiasm for learning
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a supportive department

Person Specification for French Teacher (KS3 & KS4) (also being considered for future positions):

• QTS with specialism in French
• Experience teaching French across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Passionate about modern foreign languages and student progress
• Creative, resourceful, and reflective practitioner
