Qualified Math Teacher — Alternative Provision

Full time - ASAPLeeds

We are currently recruiting for an experienced UK Qualified Mathematics Teacher, full time starting in September initially for one term. You will be teaching Key stage 4 pupils in small groups no more than 6. This is an amazing Ofsted rated Good alternative provision that caters for students on a 16-week placement before they are re-integrated back into their mainstream school.

Job spec & responsibilities
  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification
  • Can teach specialist subject area of Mathematics up to GCSE level.
  • Plan and prepare Mathematics curriculum up to GCSE level.
  • Have experience teaching students with low level educational abilities.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Clear oral and written communication skills.
  • Must hold a DBS on the subscription service, or willing to apply for a new one.
