Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Midwife with a current UK professional registration.
• Operational management experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Post-registration clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide professional leadership to nursing/midwifery staff.
• Ensure high-quality patient care in maternity inpatients.
• Develop and implement divisional strategies to achieve Trust objectives.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Problem solving and managing conflict skills

Knowledge of key performance measures relating to Midwifery

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Education

Registered Midwife

Masters or equivalent qualification/experience

Teaching and assessing qualification
